Villa 'Due Olivi' - Location
Villa “Due Olivi” is situated just 300 metres above sea level, in the fashionable hillside of Selva di Fasano, with views over the coastal plain to the glistening Adriatic.
Just 50km from both the airports of Bari and Brindisi, with fast road links to both, makes the villa quickly and easily accessible
The centre of Selva di Fasano is within easy walking distance where you will find local shops selling groceries and household items, bars, restaurants and a 4 star hotel with excellent facilities including a large swimming pool and good restaurant both open to non residents.
Il Fagiano, a Michelin standard restaurant, perfect for those special occasions, is just a 10 minute walk from the villa and just 5 minutes away by car you will find La Quercia and La Siesta restaurants serving excellent local Puglian cuisine.
Bars and meeting places are a big part of the Italian lifestyle and Selva di Fasano certainly has its fair share of those: at The Municipale, in the centre of Selva, there is always something happening, from live music to art exhibitions and open air eating during the summer months
Go down the hill into Fasano and you will find all the amenities that a bustling Italian market town has to offer including two theatres, a cinema and an abundance of bars, local shops and supermarkets. Trains go from the station north and south on a regular basis.
A little further down the road you arrive at the small fishing port of Savelletri with its’ lively bars and lovely restaurants, popular with tourists and locals alike. Both north and south of Savelletri you’ll find numerous public and private beaches for sunbathing and swimming. Just 5km south of Savelletri is Torre Carne, again with smart restaurants right on the sea front. A little further down the coast is the town of Ostuni, also known as the White City, which on a clear day can be seen from the balcony of the villa.
Inland is Alberobello, home of the Trullo, and Cisternino both world heritage sites and about a 20 minute drive from the villa. Good open air markets selling the best and freshest local produce are on almost every day (except Sunday) at different towns all very close by.
